SATA trueSun

A new high-precision LED module, especially developed for SATA, offers a true reproduction of the daylight to enable reliable colour identification inside the spray booth, and thus to help prevent expensive mistakes and high rework costs.

Accurate colour retrieval, the correct application of metallic paints or special effect materials as well as the detection of critical mottling or other surface imperfections are playing a crucial role in the car refinish application process. A new high-precision LED module, especially developed for SATA, offers a true reproduction of the daylight to enable reliable colour identification inside the spray booth, and thus to help prevent expensive mistakes and high rework costs.

Due to the uniform distribution of the light across the light cone, the SATA Daylight LED lamp allows the almost perfect reproduction of daylight. In addition to three defined lock positions, the light intensity can be also infinitely adjusted.

The daylight lamp enables the painter to retrieve colours very quickly and precisely as well as to evaluate the quality of the painted surface at the end of the application process with a secure and exact methodology. The second-to-none quality of the SATA Daylight LED lamp in terms of light intensity ensures an optimum of process security, in particular as it remains at constant intensity level until the device has completely switched off – irrespective of the actual charging condition of the extremely durable Lithium-Ion accumulator, which is permanently indicated on the builtin charging condition display.

An automatic switch-off function in combination with a minimal complete charging cycle of only 40 minutes guarantees that the daylight lamp is always operational when needed. A completely noiseless cooling ventilation („Whispering ventilator“), easy operation, an ergonomically shaped handle as well as the integrated shock absorption, all on top of the extremely durable LED technology, are just some of the features designed to greatly improve the daily work of every professional painter

Roberlo returns to Motortec Automechanika Madrid

After years of hard work promoting the brand at trade shows across the world, Roberlo is going to exhibit again at the biggest event in the Spanish market: Motortec Automechanika Madrid 2017.

With more than 600 exhibitors, 1,400 companies, and 50,000 professionals, Motortec is the leading international trade show in Spain for the automotive industry. Its area of influence focuses on professionals from the Iberian Peninsula, Latin America and North Africa and, since 2010, IFEMA has organized this event in collaboration with the Frankfurt fair; that is why it is now called Motortec Automechanika.

This new edition of Motortec will take place on 15, 16, 17, and 18 March, 2017, in Ifema (Madrid). Halls 4 and 6 will be dedicated to vehicle repair and maintenance, with Roberlo being in hall 4; at stand 4E03 to be exact.

Roberlo is going to exhibit again in Madrid in 2017 to strengthen their company image and also to get closer to distributors and product users from the national market. At this trade show Roberlo is going to present its newest products, where both the Kronox 610 ultra-fast clear coat and the Vital styrene-free putty stand out.

Besides these new products, Roberlo is also going to exhibit their industrial Disolac color system, which has grown significantly in recent years, in part thanks to its multiple solutions for industrial vehicles.

Cromax® has developed a new accelerator that helps Cromax High Productive Surfacers dry faster at ambient temperatures. High Productive Accelerator AZ1050 changes the drying properties of High Productive Surfacer 1051R (white) and High Productive Surfacer 1057R (black) to cut air-drying times from 60 minutes to 30 minutes at 20°C.

It’s important to us to support our refinishers’ aim of increased throughput and productivity, and the introduction of a dedicated High Productive Accelerator for our High Productive Surfacers certainly does just that,” says Koen Silverans, Cromax Training Leader for Europe, Middle East and Africa. “High Productive Accelerator AZ1050 is mixed with the High Productive Surfacers and the resulting paint can be applied, from one up to three coats, wet-on-wet with no flash-off times. This eliminates between 10 and 20 minutes of unproductive flash-off time, significantly improves the speed of overall application and drying, and makes the refinish process more efficient and economical, whilst also helping to save energy.”

High Productive Accelerator AZ1050 also offers very good vertical stability. It should be mixed with the High Productive Surfacers and the VHS fast activator XK203 in a ratio of 5:1:2.

High Productive Surfacer 1051R (white) and High Productive Surfacer 1057R (black) are part of the ValueShade® concept, which helps to deliver the optimal undercoat for every topcoat colour. Different shades of grey are matched to different topcoat colours, delivering a combination that requires less paint. All Cromax colour retrieval tools specify the right ValueShade for every topcoat, which can minimise preparation time, increase colour hiding, decrease paint consumption and help to reap improved productivity and profitability.
